Citrine is characterised by its transparent quality. Natural citrine has a very light yellow/brown tinge, and can often be mistaken for Smoky Quartz. The heat treated variety has more of a deeper vibrant yellow appearance and was originally an Amethyst specimen that utilised heat treatment to enhance the colour and turn it to a vibrant yellow.
Citrine is an extremely high vibrational stone. It is most commonly prized for its prosperity-enhancing properties. It is widely used for attracting wealth, and is a great stone to use for manifestation, due to its high-vibing energy.
